چکیده
The two main processes of black hole formation are collapse a matter cloud under its own gravity and accretion onto an already existing gravitating centre. necessary condition for both the to operate is that overall force on collapsing fluid element or test accreting particles attractive. It turns out this not case in general higher dimensions greater than usual four having nonzero angular momentum. Thus, these cannot form rotating hole. only theory which pure Lovelock gravity, where could principle work holes.

Accelerating a Black Hole in Higher Dimensions
Utilising the master equation with source for perturbations of the SchwarzschildTangherlini solution, we construct perturbative solutions representing a black hole accelerated by a string in higher dimensions. We show that such solutions can be uniquely determined by a single function representing the local tension of the string, under natural asymptotic and regularity conditions. We further st...

We study the property of matter in equilibrium with a static, spherically symmetric black hole in D-dimensional spacetime. It requires this kind of matter has an equation of state ω ≡ pr/ρ = −1/(1 + 2kn), k, n ∈ N, which seems to be independent of D. However, when we associate this with specific models, some interesting limits on space could be found: (i)D = 2 + 2kn while the black hole is surr...
متن کاملBlack Holes in Higher Dimensions
We review black-hole solutions of higher-dimensional vacuum gravity and higher-dimensional supergravity theories. The discussion of vacuum gravity is pedagogical, with detailed reviews of Myers-Perry solutions, black rings, and solution-generating techniques. We discuss black-hole solutions of maximal supergravity theories, including black holes in anti-de Sitter space. General results and open...
متن کاملBlack hole entropy in two dimensions.
Black hole entropy is studied for an exactly solvable model of two-dimensional gravity[1], using recently developed Noether charge techniques[2]. This latter approach is extended to accomodate the non-local form of the semiclassical effective action. In the two-dimensional model, the final black hole entropy can be expressed as a local quantity evaluated on the horizon. This entropy is shown to...
متن کاملMulti-black hole solutions in five dimensions
Using a recently developed generalized Weyl formalism, we construct an asymptotically flat, static vacuum Einstein solution that describes a superposition of multiple five-dimensional Schwarzschild black holes. The spacetime exhibits a U(1)×U(1) rotational symmetry. It is argued that for certain choices of parameters, the black holes are collinear and so may be regarded as a five-dimensional ge...
